Situated in a lush garden atrium setting in the Rydges Hotel, Capital Hill, Canberra, Big Roar were commissioned to create a restaurant identity as part of the ongoing regeneration of the dining experience.

The visual direction is inspired by the historic forms of botanical illustrations forming an elegant background palette for modern typography. The logo execution is an isolated section of the fig plant with simple but striking typographic overlay.
